Andy Keeling
A POTTED HISTORY
Andy grew up in rural South Staffordshire in the centre of England, known as 'The Creative County'. His love for photography
started when his parents bought him his first camera, a Kodak Pocket Instamatic for a holiday to Brittany. As a child, Andy often
disappeared exploring new places and switched to an SLR camera, choosing Pentax for good quality and value.
Andy started work at an Architect's practice in Wolverhampton and has remained
closely connected with the building industry working for Property Developers and
in Oak Frame Design & Manufacture. Since 1999 Andy has been self employed
and along with photographing many buildings for clients, travels extensively
around Europe and particularly the UK, photographing pubs for fatbadgers.co.uk
He is a keen sportsman, playing football and golf. In 1987 Andy tried skiing for
the first time and fell in love with not only the skiing but also the mountain
scenery and has been known to ski with two cameras and a video recorder.
In 1985 he went sailing for the first time aboard his uncle's yacht and is now a
qualified Yachtmaster and RYA Instructor. Much of his photography revolves
around these pastimes.
Andy has done a number of weddings choosing an informal style of candid shots and is the official photographer for Stoke City
Ladies Football Club.
